Seestar EZ Equatorial Pier Mount

While the Seestar is wonderfully portable, most use is from the home.  Mounting to a pre-aligned Equatorial Pier is hugely convenient.  There’s no tripod to set out and no fuss in achieving alignment as the pier mount is already precisely aligned to the celestial pole.  Simply slip your Seestar onto the permanently aligned mount.  Instead of a 10 minute setup procedure, in 10 seconds you’re ready to go.

The EZ Pier Mount Kit is fabricated from aluminum, with stainless steel hardware.  Designed for exposure to the elements, it is impervious to heat and cold and snow and rain.  It is supplied with a  pipe flange so that it may be mounted to a  ¾” pipe embedded into the ground, the top of a fence post, or the top of a deck railing.  The flange may be discarded for direct mounting to a 4″X4″ timber, fence post, or railing.

Lightweight and compact, the thick rigid 6061 aircraft aluminum alloy offset arm is custom formed to your latitude.  Fine adjustment is achieved by screw adjustment. 

The EZ Mount is designed to take advantage of ZWO’s equatorial mode firmware.  Seestar’s standard azimuth configuration is quicker and easier to set up than the superior equatorial mode configuration.  The EZ Pier Mount eliminates all setup. 

Mounting the scope takes only seconds.  Screw the supplied mounting hand knob into the base of your Seestar 2 or 3 turns.  Then simply slide the scope into the slot at the top of the mounting arm.  No need to fuss around trying to find the mounting hole.   Ten seconds and you’re mounted.
